Your Pool Without Chemicals

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION DIAGRAM OF THE POOL SYSTEM

Installation of the STABFOR® LB unit is simple and suitable for both new and existing pool filtration circuits. Depending on the size and usage of the pool, a sand filtration vessel (fraction 1–2.5 mm) is recommended. Proper pump performance is also essential for regular backwashing of the filtration media.

A simple sodium hypochlorite dosing unit is installed before the STABFOR® LB unit, which, after passing through the unit, creates effective chlorine dioxide for water purification. No additional devices (e.g., pH dosing systems) are required. The unit is not compatible with saltwater – in such cases, the technology must be replaced with a standard chlorine dosing system.

Main Advantages

Healthy Swimming

Thanks to STABFOR® technology, pool water is completely free of free chlorine and other aggressive chemicals. It is naturally soft, gentle to the touch, and exceptionally kind to the skin – making it ideal not only for adults but also for sensitive children’s skin and pets. After swimming, the skin remains pleasantly hydrated, smooth, and free from irritation, significantly enhancing overall comfort and the swimming experience.

Certificates and Tests

The STABFOR® unit is tested in accredited laboratories according to applicable European standards. Measurement results confirm high efficiency in removing unwanted substances, optimizing water structure, and maintaining stable operational parameters under real conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you interested in how STABFOR® LB works, how it is installed, or what maintenance it requires? We have prepared answers to the most frequently asked questions.

How does the entire pool system work?

Depending on the size of the pool, an appropriate sand filtration system with sand media (fraction 1–2.5 mm) is installed. This filtration captures mechanical impurities.

Based on the size and load of the pool, liquid sodium hypochlorite is dosed into the filtration circuit, which then flows into the STABFOR® LB unit. The unit converts active chlorine into chlorine dioxide while simultaneously creating highly structured water enriched with ozone, oxygen, and free hydrogen. These processes result in water without the smell of chlorine and without the typical chemical burden. Each solution is always designed individually according to specific conditions and client requirements.

Mohu do bazénu aplikovat chemické přípravky? Například na regulaci tvrdosti vody, vysrážení železa, apod.?

Since the system operates on a non-chemical water treatment principle, it is not suitable to use standard pool chemicals. These may damage the internal components of the STABFOR® LB unit and significantly reduce the efficiency of the entire technology. Therefore, any application of such products must always be consulted with the supplier.

Can the unit be installed in a saltwater pool?

The STABFOR® LB unit cannot be operated in combination with saltwater. If the pool uses a saltwater system, it must be replaced with standard chlorine dosing.

What is the maintenance of the STABFOR® LB unit?

The STABFOR® LB unit is designed for low-maintenance operation. Once every 12 months, the UV lamp and selected internal components (inserts and stabilizers) are replaced. During winterization, the device must be drained and disconnected from the power supply, which extends its lifespan and service intervals.

Lze využít automatizaci na hlídání kvality vody?

Standard automatic water quality monitoring systems cannot be used with STABFOR® LB technology. Conventional sensors measure free chlorine levels, which are not present in this treated pool water, causing dosing systems to operate continuously and incorrectly.

How should chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) dosing be set?

Sodium hypochlorite dosing should only occur while filtration is running and should be divided into several smaller doses throughout the day (for example, into four). The exact amount is always determined individually based on the pool volume.

Mohu jednotku STABFOR® LB vypnout, v případě, že bazén není využíván?

The STABFOR® LB unit must operate continuously; switching it off may damage the UVC lamp.

Je možné využít elektrické propojení filtrace s jednotkou STABFOR® LB?

We strongly do not recommend electrically connecting the filtration system with the STABFOR® LB unit due to filtration cycles. The unit must remain in continuous operation and must not be switched off together with the filtration system. Switching off is only permitted during winterization, when the system must also be drained to extend the lifespan of replaceable components.
